A battlefield, a haven, a hiking mecca…Droop Mountain offers peace and tranquility.

Highland Scenic Highway is all ablaze this weekend with the buttery yellows of the beech trees already succumbing to the cold weather.  Now is peak!

The Greenbrier River Trail has been written about by many but some thoughts occurred to me as I spent the last week walking several lengths of it with my German shepherd, Ozark.
